in a fabrication course, i was given the prompt to use a cnc machine, a sheet and a half of plywood, and rhino/fusion to create anything i wanted. i chose to deconstruct a silhouette and use small plywood “donuts” and slats to extrude ½-inch plywood into a large-scale form. through this process, i gained hands-on experience with rapid fabrication techniques, cnc milling workflows, and the design and assembly of cnc furniture systems.

oh and this back side is for my cat john.
